Rabbits all Around!

Reading this week:
We read all these books this week!

 In Math we ...
used lots of jelly beans for non-standard measurement and to find out which type of jelly bean was in the bag the most!!

 And we learned about Rabbits...

We had a really good time during our spring party rotations!!

And here are the results of an experiment we performed over the past week:

Our  question was:
Which liquid will dissolve a peep the fastest?
 - Ask your child about our results :)

Spring Has Sprung!

A little update...
This week we are working on Fractions in Math and continuing with developing on students various numeracy goals.  Fractions can be difficult for some students, because we have been working with whole sets and shapes.  Usually by the end of the topic they have a better understanding.

We have been working very hard with finishing this nine weeks to meet our:
Reading Goals
Writing Goals
Math Goals

Last week we did some assessment to see how we are gaining knowledge.

I am very excited about all of their progress!

We will be having a special learning rotations for spring this Friday from 11-12:30.  I appreciate all the support :)

This past week we talked about recycling, reusing, and reducing waste to help our planet. Your children have been coming up with their own research questions about recent topics and they ask Wonderful questions.
