Reading this week:
We read all these books this week!
In Math we ...
used lots of jelly beans for non-standard measurement and to find out which type of jelly bean was in the bag the most!!
And we learned about Rabbits...
We had a really good time during our spring party rotations!!

A little update...
This week we are working on Fractions in Math and continuing with developing on students various numeracy goals. Fractions can be difficult for some students, because we have been working with whole sets and shapes. Usually by the end of the topic they have a better understanding.
We have been working very hard with finishing this nine weeks to meet our:

Writing Goals
Math Goals
Last week we did some assessment to see how we are gaining knowledge.
I am very excited about all of their progress!
We will be having a special learning rotations for spring this Friday from 11-12:30. I appreciate all the support :)
This past week we talked about recycling, reusing, and reducing waste to help our planet. Your children have been coming up with their own research questions about recent topics and they ask Wonderful questions.
Well what didn't we do on the 100 day? :)
And then to celebrate Read Across America we... made Green Eggs and Ham ... from Farm to Table
And we played all sorts of math games with Dr. Suess Characters
And we were lucky enough to have the Secretary of Agriculture read to us :) in the barn and of course she read us Mr. Brown Can Moo Can You??
